In this recorded lecture presentation Denis Edwards, Barrister, considers a number of fundamental principles of constitutional law. Different constitutional models are examined include written and unwritten constitutions, unitary and federal constitutions, republican and monarchical constitutions, flexible and rigid constitutions and supreme and subordinate constitutions. In addition the nature of the UK constitution, its evolution and reform is considered.
